Bluebell
Welcome to Bur Hill
Border Collies.
Here are some pictures of our young dogs that we are raising
for our breeding program.
Bluebell
Offspring of Katie and Glen
Bluebell is a lovely pup from Katie and Glen.
She is our first blue and white border collie. Katie and Glen
surprised us by both carrying the recessive dilute gene. Bluebell
is our rough and tumble girl who has endless energy to romp
and play. She is excellent in wearing out any of our young dogs
that have energy to spare. She is also very affectionate and
can't resist a good tummy rub.
Skye
Offspring of Katie and Glen
Skye is a handsome pup from Katie and Glen.
She is Bluebell's sister. Skye is hopelessly happy like her
dad and enyoys the view from on top of her dog house, spending
much time up there. She continues to surprise us with her intelligence.
She is the head cocker, communicating through a variety of angles
of turning her head to the side when spoken to. Her amusing
antics keep us smiling.
Jen
Offspring of Nellie and Glen
Jen is a beautiful pup from Nellie and Glen.
She is what we have been hoping to produce from Cindy's line
(Nellie is Cindy's daughter). Jen embodies the classic style
and focus that Cindy and Nellie have, plus she has plenty of
Glen's warmth and amiableness. She is a busy girl who enjoys
being active, yet has an excellent off switch and really likes
to snuggle and be with our children. We are enjoying Jen very
much and look forward to her future.
Robbie
Imported from England
Robbie is a gorgeous dark red and white pup
we brought over from England. He is a super friendly, affectionate
dog with lots of spunk and speed. He loves going for walks with
our girls and is doing well with his training. Robbie gets along
fantastically with all our dogs and has found it very easy to
integrate.
Flynn
Imported from England
Flynn is a handsome golden red and white pup
we brought over from England. We are delighted with his congenial
manner and quickness to learn. He is such a happy boy and is
always ready to play with our children. He has pleased us with
his biddable temperament and bubbly personality. Both he and
his fellow countrymen Robbie, Andy and Glen, have been a joy
to work with. It has certainly paid off for us to go the UK
for our male pups.
Mitsie
Offspring of Jess and Roy
Mitsie is a lovely red and white offspring
of Jess and Roy. She is showing the excellent qualities of both
her parents and is wonderfully easy going and good natured.
She loves meeting people and is surprising composed for her
age. Besides playing with our children and going for walks with
them, Mitsie loves snuggling, having a good tummy rub and being
a good team player with the rest of our dogs when having their
daily exercise.
Pansy
Offspring of Cindy and Glen
Pansy is a very unique and striking blue and
white tri-colour female from Cindy and Glen. Cindy surprised
and delighted us in her final breeding by producing five blue
and white pups. Pansy is a perfect combination of her mom's
classic stylishness and her dad's warm geniality. She is full
of antics, continues to out-smart us, has tons of energy, and
loves attention, especially from our children.
She is quite the head turner and receives much comment from
visitors.
Janie
Offspring of Cindy and Glen
Janie is a full sister to Pansy and is part
of the double blessing Cindy gave us in her final litter. Janie
is an absolute doll who is so endearing and affectionate. She
is hopelessly happy like her dad and will do anything to please.
Playing ball with our children, sleeping on her back, and having
a big snuggle are her favourite pastimes. She has been effortless
to raise and goes along with whatever the plan is. We are thankful
for such a delightful addition.
