Welcome to Bur Hill
Border Collies.
We are a small farmstead located in the Tillsonburg area of
southern Ontario (30 minutes southeast of London). In addition
to manufacturing an extensive line of natural remedies for people,
pets and livestock, we also raise purebred Border Collies. Our
niche is in providing pups that make wonderful family pets for
active families. Our pups also do well in recreational sports
and herding.
Cindy is a black and white, rough coated Border Collie with
a wonderful temperament. She has a strong herding instinct and
loves to work our geese. She is also extremely patient and gentle
and absolutely adores children (we have 4 young children).
Lass is a tri-colour, rough coated Border Collie with a very pretty
face. She loves playing with our children and riding in their
wagon. We have unofficially dubbed her and Roxy our best sales
agents because of their incredibly affectionate and loving manner
with the customers that come to visit us.
Roxy is a beautiful red and white,
rough coated Border Collie with a gentle and loving temperament,
and a strong herding instinct. Besides playing with our children
(she is our self-imposed babysitter), Roxy's favourite pastime
is watching our geese.
Sheilagh is a
black and white, rough coated Border Collie with a strong
recessive red gene. (She is the mother of Roxy). She is very
loving and gentle and loves children very much. Sheilagh has
a proven record of producing excellent quality puppies.
Maggie
is a very stylish young red and white rough coated Border
Collie. Besides being a beautiful red and looking much
like her half-sister Roxy, Maggie has that wonderful gentle
and affectionate temperament that Roxy is famous for.
Maggie also has inherited the strong herding instinct
from her parents and loves to herd the geese, chickens
and other dogs. She is a very happy dog and is a delight
to watch as she has great form and structure. Like all
our dogs, she loves children and likes to be with them
when they are playing.
Roy is a wonderful red and
white border collie which we recently imported from Angus
county, Scotland. He comes from a working sheep farm near
Forfar and has sheep herding experience. He also has a great
off-button and is happy to take it easy.
Roy is a very
handsome boy with a great temperament. He is extremely gentle
and affectionate and loves our children. He is very easy
going and has a relaxed outlook on life. He has the kind
of temperament that will give us the family pet type of
pups we have become known for. It is important for us that
we produce border collies that are easy to live with and
make great companions.
He has produced 4 litters of excellent pups in Scotland.
We look forward to the pups Roy will give us in the future.
We are also making him available for stud service for approved

Our puppies
are vet checked, dewormed, micro-chipped, have first shots,
and are well socialized in a family setting. They are sold
on a spay/neuter contract and are registered with the Canadian
Border Collie Association. Our puppies are 8 weeks old before
we allow them to go to their new homes. This enables them
to become well socialized with ourselves and our four children
before they go to be with their new owners.
Temperament is one of the most important aspects of our
dogs. They adore children, are very loving and gentle, and
are wonderful family pets.
All of our breeding stock has been tested clear for
hips and eyes (CERF).

Lass
had 6 beautiful puppies on March 15, 2008. She has
3 females and 3 males. Three are black and white, and three
are black and white tri-colour. All have lovely classical
markings. Roy is the sire. See pictures below.

Note:
Roy has sired a litter of red and
white pups by Lassie, a lovely
red and white border collie owned by Jack Johnson near Parkhill
Ontario. Lassie has all her health clearances, has a very
sweet temperament, and is an excellent cattle dog who is
a good worker on the farm. The pups were born April 15,
2008. There are still pups available. The pups will be vet
checked, dewormed and have first shots. They will be registered
with the Canadian Border Collie Association. Please call

Upcoming
Litter.
Cindy
will be having a litter born in mid May 2008, ready to go
mid July. Roy is the sire. This
litter will be black & white and black & white tri-colour.
We
have taken all the reservations for Cindy's litter that
we will take until her pups are born and we see how many
she has.
